Chloe the Coffee Mug Girl

Here is a card I made for a good friend's birthday. We often have coffee or tea together so I thought Chloe from the Stamping Bella would be perfect! I made this card for this week's inspiration challenge over at Splitcoast. I love the bedspread that was highlighted and I pulled the greens, florals, and polka dots into my design.
I also made this card for the Saturday sketch challenge at The Sweet Stop. I had to move the sentiment up to the top because my bow was too big! It fit in the top corner quite nicely.
I colored Chloe with copics and had originally chosed a different background paper, which is why her headband is blue! I still think she's too cute and who ever matches their coffee mug anyway?! I embossed the background with Swiss Dots to carry the polka dot theme through.
TFL and have a great day!

Stamps - Stamping Bella Chloe the Coffee Mug Girl
Paper - SU Rose red, regal rose, glorious green, white, SU dsp Raspberry Tart

Flowers of Tomorrow

Here is a card I made for the featured stamper challenge today, honoring Karen. What a great gallery to look through and a great stamper!! I love her style of making her own designer paper and her beautiful use of ribbons and bows. I chose this card to case:

I added another strip of ribbon and some horrendous stitching on the background panel!! Fabric I can sew easily but my sewing on cards needs a little work!! The bottom is so crooked!

Miracles Bloom

Here is a card I made for this week's sketch challenge at The Sweet Stop. The challenge added a twist to use a sentiment as the main image. This is not my usual style, but I am happy with the results (with the exception of the crooked top panel but please don't notice that!!) !
I chose this beautiful sentiment from the Verve set Miracles Blossom. Thanks to Jodi for letting me borrow! My design was driven by this paper from Cosmo Cricket. I've been using pinks and greens on most of my cards lately and wanted to try a different palette.
TFL and have a great day!

TFL and have a great day!

Life is a Bowl of Cherries

Here is a card I made for the Featured Stamper challenge at Splitcoast. This card features my first attempt at sewing a card! What an easy accent to add. My sewing machine has now become a stamping accessory!!

I love this set from Taylored Expressions, one of those had to haves for me. It's a lot of fun to color and the sentiments are so sweet.

I colored the bowl of cherries with copics and cut it out with the Labels Nestibilities. That panel and the sentiment panel are raised up on dimensionals. The red from the designer paper was really the entire inspiration for the card.

TFL and have a great day!
