You're a Gem!

Here is my card for the sketch challenge today. I turned it on its side to fit this adorable image from Sugar Pea Designs. So cute! I also made this for the Central Theme this month at Splitcoast. It was to make a card with one of my favorite things, in this case, diamonds. I added some dazzling glitter to the gems to turn them into diamonds. The rest of the image is colored with Copics.

Safe Harbor

I needed a few thank you cards for my stash and thought this set would be perfect. I love the coordinating anchor die-cut that MFT has matched with this stamp set. Such a quick easy way to make a super cute card.
I made this card for two challenges over at Splitcoast today - one to use color blocking with a die cut in front and the second is the featured stamper challenge. The stamper that is featured today has a very different style from me, using a lot of darker, rich colors and lots of texture, with a great use of techniques. I use my copics as my go-to and love a cute image with bright dsps! I think I found a happy medium here. I played on the nautical colors, which are rich, added texture with the embossing and twine and still kept a little bit of the cuteness. Hope you enjoy.

Thanks a Bunch!

Spring has arrived here in the northeast and brought all the rain with it. Two soccer games in the rain but the last one was cancelled, which freed up my afternoon for a little crafty time. It's been a while since I found some time to make a card and I've had this adorable image waiting on my desk to be colored. She was a gift to me from Wendy at SugarPea Designs - I was a lucky winner chosen from those who commented on her blog. If you haven't checked out Wendy's new stamp store - SugarPea Designs - I don't know what you are waiting for! Super cuteness all over.
My card is for two challenges today - the first is SPD's monthly challenge (SPD03) to Embellish It. I used a ribbon and die-cut button to take care of that. The second challenge is the inspiration challenge at Splitcoast today - Damask Love(IC434). I chose a project on the blog that used a small white polka dot on a light pastel. Immediately thought of this paper from Stampin Up that I have had forever.

Birthday Boy

Good morning! I am so excited to be the Guest Artist over at Whimsie Doodles once again. I chose this cute image, Present Jayson and lots of bright colors and patterns, perfect for a little boy turning 5. My daughter's buddy at school is having a party this week and he will love this (or at least his Mom will!!).
I colored the image with Copics and included a die-cut 5 and red twine for added texture. Super cute!

Rain or Shine

Here is a card I made for the VSN challenge at Splitcoast and for the inspiration. One was to use an umbrella and the other was to be inspired by rain. Easy combination! I colored the image with copics and use black highlights against a great green paper to really make the image pop.
Thanks so much for looking!

Here's another card I made a few weeks ago but never posted, I was a hostess for VSN this weekend at SCS, my first time. My challenge was "Four Seasons" - to make a card using four images on the card. Here is the sample I made:

Happy Birthday!

Here is a card I made for the featured stamper challenge at Splitcoast today (FS369). I inked up a digital image from Tiddly Inks and colored her with Copics. She is too adorable! I blended several different papers to match the image and to follow a sketch from the featured stamper.
The papers are from Bazzill and My Mind's Eye.

Here For You

Here is my card for the inspiration challenge at Splitcoast today, an inspiration website containing bold geometrics with bold colors. I went straight for this blue and yellow mix with the chevron pattern too.  I was also inspired by the monthly challenge this month, with was to be lifted. This card is to lift someone's spirit. I used the monthly sketch challenge today.
This card uses a sentiment from an oldie but goodie stamp set from Stampin Up - 24-7. Always a favorite of mine. I combined it with some great papers from MME.
