Happy Birthday Avery!

Good Morning! Time for another fun Blast from the Past Blog hop at Taylored Expressions. But before I get to my card, I would like to congratulate Taylor and her husband, Jon, on the birth of their beautiful baby girl, Madelyn. She is so adorable!

This month's theme was a birthday card to celebrate Taylored Expression's birthday or a birth day card to celebrate Taylor's new arrival. I chose a birthday card, a rather sophisticated first birthday card, but for a special little girl whose Mommy is a very sophisticated stamper herself!!

I used Sankari Wegman's sketch as my inspiration, which is shown here:

I inked up Taylor from the TE Moka Collection. These are so fun to color with copics and to paper piece. I colored her dress to match this flower designer paper from Bo Bunny. The flower is just layered flowers cut from the same designer paper and cardstock, using the TE Friendship Blooms dies. I sewed both the image panel and the background panel and added the ribbon and brads to match the sketch. I had to use a different sentiment only because I wanted it to say Happy First Birthday, instead of just Happy Birthday.
