Rex Takes the Cake!!

Here is a card I made for the Sweet Stop Sketch this week (SSS127) using this adorable digital image from Pink Cat Studio. I just made a card the other day using one of their images and remembered how much I love this little guy. He's perfect for a little boy birthday card.

I colored him with copics in shades of blue and colored the presents to match the background paper. Instead of the flowers from the sketch, I thought I would take bites out of the paper. It seemed more fitting for this card!! I opted for twine instead of a fancy ribbon too. I added a few small brads at the bottom to match the sketch and a final sentiment.

This card is available for sale at my Etsy shop, KCsCards.

Thanks for stopping by today!

Supplies used:
Stamps - Pink Cat Studio Rex Takes the Cake digital, Stampin Up sentiment
Paper - Bazzill cardstock, Basic Grey dsp
Ink - SU RRH
Accessories - Copics, bakers twine, scallop circle punch, brads
