Laugh Often

Good Morning! I spent a little time yesterday in my craft room making some cards for challenges. Great way to start off the week but today it's back to laundry and cleaning.

Today's card is for this week's There She Goes challenge, which was an inspiration challenge shown here (TSG141).

I started off with the idea of making a flower card showing the crisp contrast of pink, brown and white but ended with something quite different. I love the final product. This flower stamp from There She Goes is one of my favorites.

I stamped the flower four times and cut each layer out separately, popping each one up to add that dimension. I sponged the edges with chocolate chip, as I did with all of the layers. I stamped the branch onto the center panel, colored with copics and added the flower. The rest of the card was just layers and layers, all edges softened. I added a scallop border and ribbon to the horizontal panel.

Thanks for stopping by today!

Supplies used:
Stamps - There She Goes Flowers of Happiness
Paper - Bazzill cardstock, MME dsp
Ink - SU Chocolate Chip
Accessories - Copics, scallop border punch, grosgrain ribbon, sponge
