Here is a card I made for the Sweet Sunday sketch challenge this week. I just love this new Cowgirl Pure Innocence from My Favorite Things. She is so adorable and a lot of fun to color.
I colored the image with copics, paper piecing the skirt to match one of the background papers. I stitched all of the panels and added a sentiment to the top square panel - there was just no other place to put one! The two background papers are broken up with a wide grosgrain ribbon. For the top panel, I wrapped it in twine and added a simple knot. I also put two photo corners on this panel. I've been seeing those again on cards and love the way it looks here.
I followed the sketch from Sweet Sunday Sketch challenge 154 (SSSC154), shown here:
Thanks for stopping by today. I'll be adding a few new cards to my Etsy shop, KCsCards today, including this one!
