Today's card is a fun clean and simple card I made for the There She Goes challenge this week to used sewing and stitching on a card (TSG164) and for the CAS challenge at Splitcoast to make a card to the theme of Fairy Tales. This was an easy challenge to combine today since TSG has a really cute stamp set called "Once Upon a Time" featuring a prince and princess. I recently made a card using the princess so I wanted to do something a little different. This mouse from the set is sooo cute so I made him the focus.
Banners seem to be all the rage on cards these days so I joined in the fun. It allowed me to add a bit of designer paper while keeping the card very clean and simple. For stitching, I went with a zig zag across the side of the banners and around the dark pink panel.
It's rare that I make a card without ribbon, so I hope you appreciate my restraint!
